Trademark basics for game-day promos
The NFL owns the "Super Bowl" name and logos, and it's known for protecting them in advertising. Plenty of small businesses use generic language to stay clear of that, and it costs you nothing. This isn't legal advice; if you're unsure about a specific ad, ask a lawyer.
- In paid ads, printed signs and deal posts, say "the big game," "game day" or "Sunday, Feb 14."
- Don't use NFL, team or league logos, or official-looking graphics.
- Don't suggest you're an official sponsor or partner.
- Footballs, wings, pizza boxes and couches are all fair game.
What a tray post has to say
In Studio, your tray names and prices come straight from your menu, so the post, the Google listing and the register all agree. Make the whole run in late January and schedule it to Instagram, Facebook, Google and TikTok.
- Each tray's name and price, taken from your menu.
- How many it feeds.
- The order deadline and the pickup window on Sunday.
- Pickup, delivery or both.
- How to order: link and phone number.
