Your words, designed onto your real food photo

The dish name, price or offer from your menu, laid out in the real empty space of your photo. The food stays exactly as photographed.

Putting words on a food photo sounds simple until you try. The text lands on the best part of the dish, the font fights the photo, or an AI tool "helps" by repainting the plate while it adds your headline.

Text on food photo in Servestack Studio finds the real empty space in your photo, the tablecloth, the corner, the space above the plate, and designs your words there with layouts a designer would use. The words come from your menu: the dish name, the price, or an offer you've set up.

The food is never redrawn. And before you get the image, every word on it is checked against what you asked for, so a misspelled dish name or a wrong price never makes it out.

How it works

How to add text to a food photo in Studio

  1. Step 01

    Pick a dish photo

Choose a photo from your library. Studio links it to the dish on your menu, so the name and price are ready.

  2. Step 02

    Choose the words

Use the dish name, add the price, or pick an offer. You can edit the line, but it starts from your menu.

  3. Step 03

    Get the designed photo

Studio lays the words into the photo's empty space, checks every word, and gives you the finished image to post or print.

Text on photo

What it does

Real empty space

Studio looks for the empty parts of your photo and puts the words there, so the text never covers the food.

Designer layouts

Titles, labels and price tags set with type and spacing that look designed, not stamped on.

Words from your menu

Dish names, prices and offers come from your menu, so the photo and the menu always agree.

Why Studio

What makes it different

The food stays exactly as photographed

Only the words are added. The dish, the plate and the table are untouched.

Every word checked

Each finished image is read back and compared with the words you chose. If a letter is off, it's caught before you see the result.

No made-up claims

Prices and offers come from your menu, not from a model's guess.

When to use text on a photo

  • A new dish: its name on the photo for the feed and your Google profile.
  • A price post: the dish and the price, so people know what it costs before they click.
  • An offer: this week's deal on the photo of the dish it's for.
  • A print sign: download the image for a window sign or a counter card.

Why AI text tools often spoil food photos

Many AI image tools add text by regenerating the whole image, which means the food gets redrawn too: the cheese melts differently, the basil moves, the portion grows. Studio keeps your photo as it is and designs only the words into it.

FAQs

Frequently asked
questions

Can I add text to my food photo without changing the food?
Yes. Studio designs the words into the empty space of your photo and leaves the food exactly as photographed.
Where do the words come from?
From your menu: the dish name, the price, or an offer you've set up. You can edit the line before Studio designs it.
What if the text has a typo?
Every word on the finished image is checked against the words you chose. A wrong letter or price is caught before you get the image.
Does it use credits?
Yes. It uses credits from the 600 included each month with the $49 Studio plan, and the cost is shown before you confirm.
Can I print the result?
Yes. Download the image for a window sign or counter card, or use Print in Studio for menus, table tents, flyers and posters.
